The mission of Special Collections is to promote the use of rare books, literary manuscripts, and college archives, to develop a sustainable program for Colby’s unique digital collections, and to support the Libraries’ strategic goals of engaging faculty and students, reconceptualizing physical and virtual spaces, balancing physical and digital collections, and developing library staff.
