As we celebrate Banned Books Week, we’re thrilled to announce a unique opportunity for our entire Colby community to engage with these vital themes: our Banned Books Week Community Art Contest!

This isn’t just a contest; it’s a celebration of intellectual freedom and a chance to visually interpret the profound impact of banned books and the fundamental “right to read.” We invite all members of the Colby College community—students, faculty, and staff—to lend their artistic voice to this important conversation.

Winners will have their art displayed in the Bixler and Miller libraries!
