Colby College’s Orientation Week is almost here, and the Colby College Libraries can’t wait to welcome you as a member of the class of 2027!

We’ve added key information to our Instagram and library orientation web page to introduce you to the Libraries. We’ll add new content through September 8th, so check back or follow the hashtag #23colbylibrariesorientation on Instagram!

Here are a few things that might be helpful to you right away:

We’re hosting “printer parties” where Libraries and ITS staff will help you connect your laptop to the black and white printers in Miller Library. Come by to get set up:

• Tuesday, September 5th, 10 am-12 pm
• Wednesday, September 6th, 7-9 pm
• Tuesday, September 12th, 3-5 pm

Some classes offer course reserves – required readings held at the front desk in Miller or Bixler libraries that you can check out for up to four hours. Search the course code here to determine if your classes have required books on reserve. You can check out course reserves at the front desks in Miller or Bixler.
